OSD delivers naval architecture and marine engineering skills to the shipping and offshore industries. It draws on an experienced global workforce to provide high quality feasibility studies, conceptual and detailed designs for tugs and offshore support vessels of all types. OSD is based in I jmuiden, the Netherlands, and has offices in Montrose, york, Appledore, Shanghai and Singapore.
BACKGROUND
Offshore Ship Designers (OSD) offers its naval architecture and marine engineering services as an autonomous, independent, consulting company to clients throughout the marine industry all over the world. Its main goal is to help clients developing their business successfully.
OFFICES AROUND THE WORLD
Offshore Ship Designers consists of design teams in the head office in IJmuiden, Montrose, york, Appledore, Shanghai and Singapore. The IJmuiden office leads the group’s tug and harbour craft work. Montrose and york lead the group’s continuing focus on cost-effective offshore service vessels. The Appledore office adds to the group expertise on cargo ships, tankers, patrol vessels, dredgers, ferries and yachts. OSD Shanghai is specialized in detail/production design for offshore and traditional vessels and provides a foothold in Asia to service group demand. The Singapore office provides a local liaison point for customers building ships in Asia which were designed in the Dutch and UK offices of OSD. It also provides a local solution for design projects for companies based in Singapore.
